Hi Guys, Thought I'd post an update on my UK trip, in particular my visit to a model rail exhibition in Cheltenham. Rather than typing it all up again and uploading all the photographs, you can have a look at my report on a similar forum, by following the following link: yourmodelrailway.net/view_topic.php?id=13895&forum_id=65 All the best, Bill

Very good pics Bill, having sorted most of the house and felled 11 tress!!! Funny how the Mrs keeps adding tasks to my list, at last I am in my man cave and today have finished the initial boarding out of my bare concrete walls, added 2 additional roof lights and an extra power point ( one more still to do ) I can start to paint the 2 plasterboard wall and clay brick ceiling tomorrow and within the week ha ha, hopefully start to build my base boards.
She who must be obeyed is going to the UK for a couple of weeks soon and I must take full advantage of a break from the ' jobs list ' !!
Regards
Richard.

Hi Richard,
Although I have my own, I too also have to balance the bride's jobs list in order to make headway on my own projects. I've almost got the laundry finished now, so the railway room is getting closer. Well done with your building work and with two extra roof lights (how many have you got then?), it will certainly be a light and airy man cave.
Have fun in the cave when your beloved is away and good luck with progress. Keep us all posted
Cheers,
Bill

A slightly belated Happy New Year to everyone, well it is France, so hopefully I'll get away with it
Cold but sunny here and I'm now close to starting the railway room, as the laundry is finished and I just have the small gite to redecorate, besides a UK visit next week!
I wish good progress on all on our respective railways and look forward to news of progress (myself included) soon (ish).
All the best,
Bill

Happy New Year fellow French based modellers.
I dropped in as I received a notification of a message via my email, the first one for a couple of years. How are you doing? Seems a tad lonely in here and a sucessful forum needs a goodly number of members willing to post regularly.
If anyone wants to chat, come find me on YMRC.net, where people from all over the planet chat every day.
PM me if you want a response here amnd I'll come and say hi.
So I'm off to the UK for 11 days this Friday for the SMRS Eastleigh exhibition and a couse at Pendon for weathering with an airbrush the following weekend.
Best,
Bill
