Hi all, Whist thinking of how to start building my first piece of rolling stock I came across a potential problem. I may be being incredibly stupid but surely if the chassis and wheels are metal, and therefore conductive, when the piece is put on the track a short circuit will occur. Could someone put me straight on this please? Brian

Hi Brian...
Deffo not a silly question [in my book there is no such thing]. I presume that Scrapman has bought-in his wheel sets, if you double left click on the photos of the bogies you'll see a black [plastic?]insert between the wheel and the axle.
If he has done them himself I must say I stand even more in respect of his excellent work, which is my main reason for posting!

Hi Doug, Thanks for the reply. I was confused as the one old wagon I own showed a short between the wheels when tested with a multimeter. I will make nylon bushes for the wheels which will make for smoother running and insulation. Thanks again for your advice, Brian
