Oh the wonders of cad and cnc as a replacement for the die-sinking pantograph.
I'll admit this caught me by surprise. I can see a certain logic in that the TT market is not, to my knowledge, over saturated with supliers let alone "mainstream" ones, and that what passes for a modern home just reminds me of the Reynolds/Seeger song but if space is constricted is not N a better bet?
Their web pages imply a whole system, about ten locomotives with a few variants on most, six pages of rolling stock, two of buildings plus track. As far as I note all the designs are from the current OO catalogue and almost everything is pre-order which makes me think that the images are all OO and it remains to be seen how swiftly these items might appear.
If anyone is still lurking on this board why not post your view as to whether this was a clever move for Hornby.
