I went to this last Sunday, spread over two halls, I'm not sure quite how to judge the size of this. It wasn't as large as either the Chartres or Montelimar shows, and some of the smaller displays I had seen before (nothing wrong with that). It was, to my mind, entirely split between the small "fit in your own car/van" and the extensive club layouts. The ability of the current crop of modellers to pay for and properly assemble the highly detailed lineside structures (plus the willingness of what I assume to be cottage industries to manufacture the kits in the first place) remains impressive. Far more realistic than what I term the german "demonstrator" layouts from 30 or so years ago, though those had far more action if not detail to look at. Feytiat is on the eastern outskirts of Limoges, about a 75 minute drive for me. I forgot to ask if it was an annual event, but if the brain is still working next year or whenever I'll try to put up a mention prior the next exhibition.

Thanks Steeve,
Damn! I missed this show. I visited a couple of years back and was impressed - very friendly crowd. I am pretty sure it is an annual event, so yes, need to check early February next year. Thanks for your helpful comments. All the best John

Don't know where February came from, of course I meant early October! Best John
