Hi, Does anyone know where / if it is possible to buy polystyrene cement for assembling plastic kits? I have so many to do! Live between Poitiers and Limoges.
Many thanks for any replies.

Hi, I guess given the tubes are small and lightweight EBAY / Internet, postage would probably be less than petrol to a shop.
Or Cultura - shop chain may have something that would do.
Supermarkets have range of Supa Glue type cements.
Minimodels - Model shop in Limoges if you fancy a trip into the city and look around the shop etc to make it worth it - 9 Rue Elie Berthet off Rue Jean Jaures.
Hope that is some help.
Richard.

Hi dancess,
I suspect that posting polystyrene cement products from the UK may difficult, as they contain inflammables, which is why you can't buy paint this way. However, any French model shop or possibly craft shop should be of help. Unfortunately, French model shops are a bit thin on the ground, so mail order may still be the best bet.
Take a look at Monsieur Maquettes website and in particular, the following link to their poly adhesives page: www.monsieurmaquettes.com/92-colles-et-mastics
I never, ever used tubes of poly cement, as it cannot be controlled very well and prefer a liquid cement and a small paintbrush, or a precision applicator, both of which give a more professional finish and helps considerably in making the cement last much longer.
All the best,
Bill
