Hi everyone, greetings from Western Sahara and a Happy New Year to all of you and your families.
I have just 3 items to discuss here, for now anyway!
1. As some of you may know I started working in Western Sahara on December 1st. With this in mind all my model railway stuff is still in France and I won't be bringing any of it here as I only have a 6-month contract (with possible extension) so I have very little to contribute to the forum. I do however enjoy reading what you guys are posting and I'm glad to say that we now have 83 members. I would like to ask you all to please keep an eye on Angloinfo for any quieries regarding the forum. I posted an invite for new members on various Angloinfo regions and due to my new working environment I was not able to reply to enquires quick enough for some people, resulting in some bad/nasty comments. I have rectified this to date but it is bound to re-occur. For some strange reason, Angloinfo won't allow me to post anything if I include the forum web address. All you guys have to do is, if you see a query about how to join the forum, please contact that person through a PM and give your email address and ask them to contact you directly. That way you can forward the webaddress to them.
2. As I am not in any position to keep a regular eye on the forum I nominate Brian and Dieter as adminstrators as, apart from myself, they were founding members of this forum.
3. Last but not least, I was contacted by someone who has a lot of rolling stock and a baseboard with track for sale. There were a lot of pictures but I cannot post them on here. If anyone is interested please contact the person directly at jaqui@chauffour.com

"Hi Berty
I’m so sorry it’s taken me so long to sort out the trains but if it is something that may be of interest to you to buy or if you know anybody that may be interested we’d love to hear from you.
I’ve attached a couple of photos of the trains, carriages etc. – they were all working when we put them away but I expect they could do with a service/clean. We also have a track layout on a board that has a selection of railway buildings and a transformer (I think that’s what it is called).
Look forward to hearing from you."
If anyone does contact the seller please don't forget to mention that you heard about the items for sale on the Anglo-French Railway Modellers' forum
Best regards to all
Berty
