Tip - Left clicking on attached pictures will display them at full size..............Sticking window acetates to the back of card model walls isn't always as simple as it seems! All too often glue gets where it should not get and the transparency of the window sheet is marred. Here's a little tip that may help..........Turn one or two clothes pegs 'inside out' to make useful long reach clamps, and when you have aligned the window transparency from the front face of the wall, clamp in place, a little to one side [see illustration]. Then, turn over the wall, lift the transparency with a pin and apply a little adhesive under the raised edge with the point of a cocktail stick. Remove the pin allowing the transparency to press against the glue, when it will be drawn further around by 'caterpillar-reaction' [ ] Now place a peg clamp over the glued side and repeat on the unglued side, simple! For 99% of my card model work I use PVA in the form of 'Anita's Sticky Glue' but for transparencies I recommend 'Roket' card glue as it becomes tacky almost instantly, and more importantly, retains a very slight degree of flexibility. Incidentally, super glue can have a tendency to 'fog' some acrylic transparencies and for this reason I try to avoid using it on this sort of job. I hope this helps someone, Doug
