Hi I have just seen the new Metcalfe kits, tapered retaining walls and bridge in both stone and brick finishes in both H0/00 and N. I would recommend a quick look at the Metcalfe site as these two models are absolute gems. I think Metcalfe's kits are just getting better and better. www.metcalfemodels.com

I took another look at the Metcalfe site, as I want to include an industrial private siding on the new layout and I found something which looks perfect. It's the rather splendid brewery kit and like Dieter's liking for the Hofbrauhaus, this is close to my heart and provides plenty of inward and outward rail and road movement to keep a bloke happy. www.metcalfemodels.com/brewery-72

I have made this model and like you it is intended as a private siding. The model is a cracker and it is well worth the money.

That's good to hear Dieter. I just found it online at just £9.50. Great price, but then they wanted another £11.50 to ship it to France! Ah, the pleasure and the pain. It'll go on my wish list for my next UK trip.

It will be well worth the wait. Some of the prices wanted for P&P from the UK are eye watering, not exactly sure where they get the prices from. Just been laying some cork underlay on the test track and managed to get some Neoprene glue on my shirt, it did not go down well with she who must be obeyed. Still onwards and upwards.
