Since the closure of the excellent model shop in Limoges,it seems impossible to buy any model railway bits any where and although there is ebay the postage costs make buying expensive. I am looking for static grass in various sizes and colours for my in progress layout, does anyone know of any model shops in the Haute Vienne area.

Hi Vic and John, It seems that French model railway shops are now an endangered species. My local shop in Angers closed a few years ago and I fear the pandemic has finished off many others. On line is the way to go and has been for us expats for years now. I use Hattons, although they can't semd solvents or enamel paint, so I'm happy I've found Passion 132 in Belgium, who even have an English site and their shipping charges are reasonable. Take a look at www.passion132.com/gb/1436-maquettesBest, Bill

I have found a model shop in Feytiat under the name "Fleche d'or modellisme", he does have an online presence and looks like he works from home.

Hi Vic, I did mention your name in my post above, so a simple 'HI Bill thanks for that' would of at least have seemed friendly. Being simply ignored certainly is not and sends me the message that I'm wasting my time posting here.
All the best John, but I'll not be back here again. You know where I post regularly if you want some friendly chat and encouragement in our wonderful hobby.
Best,
Bill
