hi jon my name is ray I live near etagnac been collecting hornby Dublo and hornby 0 gauge plus french acho hornby for the past 30years I have a layout setup in a room I made after move many time I said this is it I have some photo the size is about 4m by12m it work in process I am a carpenter joiner by trade so laptop ect are not my strong point the age of the layout train ect is up to 1969 about all tin and some later super detail my weak point is wiring but it all about learning how I am looking always for idea about the improving of my layout so looking at other is a great way of doing this l have all way done thing on my own I am thinking about a garden railway but I know not a lot about it your ray morrison

Good to hear from you. Thanks for the update. Did you see Black 5's post about a brocante near Cussac (not that far away), there was some Hornby tinplate stuff there.
Would love to see photos of your layout, makes it more interesting to see what you are doing.. By the look of it was are almost neighbours, I live in Chabanais. I will send you a private message with my address and telephone number so that you can pay me a visit if you wish. A couple of our members have garden railways and I am sure they would be happy to answer any questions you might have.
