I have just seen some pictures from the Intermodellbau Fair in Dortmund and they look impressive. I think this is one of the largest model fairs in the world, Nuremburg might be larger but it does all kinds of "toys" as well. The Fair is being held in Dortmund and the link is www.westfallenhallen.de there is an English version of the site. All the major European manufacturers are there but I am not to sure how much 00 models will be released or are on show. We are off to Bavaria this week which I am afraid is just to far away from Dortmund to make a diversion to visit, even if she who must be obeyed could be persuaded to go. Still I have a list of all the model shops in the area where we are going I may just be able to disappear to "browse". I am hoping for a day trip up to Munich as the station there is impressive and has ICE, Railjet, DB and OBB train all running through, my wife and children all think the trip is to go shopping! All the best and I will let you know how the trip went. Dieter

Hi Dieter, Thanks for the 'heads up' on this show, maybe some other members will be close enough to visit. I tried the link, but could not find the show, so here is a direct link to the show: www.westfalenhallen.de/messen/intermodellbau/en/ After posting this I will move this and your post to the 'Exhibitions and Shows' Board in the Admin Centre. Have a good trip, might we get some photos of Munich? All the best John
