I would like to post some photos on the forum, but can't work out how to do it.
Don't have a "URL" for them, and the files are too big to be attachments.

Hi Tony,
With images, re the comment in the help files about a URL -- you do not need one. I have pasted below a message I posted in the Admin Section re uploading images. Here it is:
"HOW TO DO IT
Looks as though I have been a bit thick here. I did not realize that I have already successfully loaded a picture. When I looked back at the Card Kits post, the author had written "click on image to enlarge". When I clicked on the image of my layout, lo and behold, it showed up full size! So:-
1. Make sure the cursor in your message is located where you want the picture to appear. 2. When creating a new thread, you will see four boxes at the top of the message. Click the third box "Add attachment". 3. When replying to a message, you will see two boxes at the top of the message. Click on the first box "Add attachment" 4. You will see the following: "0/3 files 1 MB max per attachment Add files... Attachments not manually inserted in your post will be appended to the end" 5. Clicking "+Add Files" now opens my own "My Pictures" folder, probably because I have already uploaded several pictures from it. 6. Select the file you want to use, and "Open" it. 7. Choosing "Insert" will place a thumbnail of the picture where you left the cursor, choosing "Done" will place the thumbnail at the end of your message. 8. For the sake of people like me who didn't know that it was a thumbnail, good idea to type "Click image to enlarge" below the picture, then they will see it full size.
Hope this is helpful, and apologies if you already know all this. But it does seem to disagree with what Berty posted, and I was a little surprised that no-one pointed out my error."
Size of files: A single image up to one megabyte per post is the max, but I generally reduce the resolution to 300 dpi which allows me to upload 3 images. If you need to reduce the file size of your images, a program like Paintshop Pro, even Windows Paint, willl allow you to do this, although Paint only shows pixels per inch rather than dpi. The best image format is *.jpg, and my 240Kb images at 300 dpi, come out at around 1500x1120 pixels.
Try out the above and create your post; if it doesn't work, just delete the post and try an alternative, when you have done it once, it seems ridiculously easy the next time. Mail me again if you have any problems or if I have confused you.
BTW, I will move your post and this reply to "How to Use the Forum" in the "Admin Centre" for future ease of access for other members.
All the best John
