Just a quickie, went to the Trocadore in Aixe Sur Vienne looking for some odd bits of furniture and the good lady spotted 10 sections of short rad half curves in bridge / balustrade style moulding OO, well at €15. I thought great, even better she bought it for me for Christmas, and as such I haven't got my hands on it yet, so don't know what make it is. There was also in the display case some red / silver SNCF coach stock, half a dozen freight wagons, and an electric loco, all rather old looking and some a little tatty, couplings etc. Still the point I suppose is things turn up in unusual places, or not when you are specifically looking, so keep your eyes wide open when out!!

Keep a eye on troc.com: www.troc.com/fr/ some time they do have some model railway stuff you can check the item online first then go to the shop to buy it but some time you need to be quick as one day I saw a jouef TGV train starter set for 19 euros but it was sold before I could get to the shop

We are off the Limoges tomorrow to do the "big shop" for the festive season so I think we might take the Aixe road home and have a look at the models if they are still there.

Thanks for your tip Cyclist21, had a quick look and there appear to be items at the Limoges store now, also looks like you could buy online via the basket option, will have to check it put when we go into town next for future reference, I particularly liked the 141R and 6700 diesel in HO, reminded me of when I had my O gauge garden system that I sold onto a friend and the balance to Rails of Sheffield, when I traded up to LGB. Cheers all. Richard.

Had a look at the coaches and the electric loco sadly just to old and very tired and It looks like they were from a Jouef starter set a little lacking on detail, also priced up at 10 euros per coach and 30 euros for the loco way beyond what they are actually worth. Still it is always worth a visit just to mooch around the warehouse.
